Just Dropped: A New Artist & A New Challenge Coin!
Is that too many capital letters? We'll never know.
We're thrilled to welcome another new artist to the roster, the JW Challenge Coin is back (in black), our little literary venture Gildlings turned one, plus big artist projects for Apple 50th, the Met and TwitchCon!

New Artist: David Milan
We’re pumped to announce that David Milan (@mdemilan), has joined the Jacky Winter roster! Working across collage, mixed media, typography and 2D/3D motion, David creates bold, vibrant works with organic textures, playful compositions and a hands-on experimental approach.
For David, “there’s nothing more satisfying than a project that comes to life out in the real world… seeing it on the street and having your name on it is one of the best feelings for an artist or designer.”

Just Dropped: JW Challenge Coin 2026
Jacky Winter’s renowned challenge coin is back - in a brand new, black metal, golf-inspired edition designed by @florian.schommer!
Given as a sign of professional connection, appreciation and gratitude, the JW Challenge Coin (which also doubles as a bottle opener and decision-making coin) is reserved for JW clients who commissioned a big project or worked with us on a job that was special in some way. We think it’s kind of a flex to have one. If you’re eligible - they’re up now at jackywinter.vip ✨

Our little lit agency is 1!
A year ago, we launched Gildlings with the intention of helping our artists access more opportunities in publishing and build their own careers in storytelling.
In the past twelve months, we’ve had the privilege of working with our publisher friends on a variety of gorgeous projects, as well as developing, submitting and selling graphic novels, picture books, and illustrated non-fiction from the brilliant minds of our creators.
There’s still so much ahead, but we’re proud of what has been achieved so far. A big thank you to every storyteller, editor, publisher, and collaborator who’s supported us so far. And especially to our artists for trusting us with your work and your stories! 💛
Year two, here we come!

Solid Lines x Apple 50th
Three of our @solidlines.agency artists, ENOKi (@grumpyenoki), Ryhia Dank (@nardurna) and Janelle Burger (@janelleburger), were selected to be part of Apple's 50th anniversary event earlier this year.
Each artist was commissioned to create an artwork to be projected on the side of Sydney Opera House, and it was such a milestone to see their First Nations stories and creativity projected on such an iconic landmark for the world to see.
Click the link to see more of ENOKi’s native flora inspired artwork titled “Gananggurr, Barparrik, Bigauga (Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday)“; Ryhia Dank’s “Memory”, which reflects a journey from Gudanji Country to the Sunshine Coast, and Janelle Burger’s piece “Bloom”, which celebrates Indigenous women across all skin tones, ages, and identities.

Jiaqi Wang x Teens Take The Met
Jiaqi Wang (@jq.wan) takes The Met! Jiaqi captures the fun and energy of this year’s ‘Teens Take The Met!’, an annual event enabling students to drop into the museum for teens-only art, music and performances.

Practice to Platform: Jake Foreman
ICYMI, we’ve been sharing mini-episodes exploring the creative practices and ethos of visual creators over at @capital.virtues (our agency for artist-creators).
Here’s a taste of a recent episode, featuring illustrator Jake Foreman (@_jakeforeman). Jake talks about how fads and technical changes will come and go, but dedication to craftsmanship and communication will always be key skills that remain fundamental for the artist.
Follow along at @capital.virtues and get to know our talent with each new episode.

Jerry-Lee Bosmans x TwitchCon
@jerbosmans’ exclusive loot collab witw TwitchCon is one for the art and design nerds in chat. Says Jerry-Lee, “This piece visualises the Twitch community as flowing bands converging toward purple, each layer representing different voices coming together. The spherical form and color palette, inspired by reimagining the Dutch flag around purple, celebrate both Rotterdam’s identity and the global, interconnected spirit of streaming culture."
Peace out chat 👾
