We’ll be sharing our processes, best practices and expert advice through this platform, focusing on the often sidelined, but always invaluable and necessary part of being a successful freelance artist: project management. “I became an artist to do admin!” said no one ever, but if you gotta do it - who better to learn from than an industry leader who’s been doing it for 18 years (and counting). That’s us!
Helping artists to navigate the art of project management and guide their projects from initial brief to smooth landing is something we’ve been wanting to do for a long time, and we’re so excited to get this out of the gate!
To kick things off, we’ll be running select modules from our inaugural course, The Flight Path: Mastering Creative Project Management, as a live cohort this September.

New Artist: Jiaqi Wang
We’re so thrilled to welcome Jiaqi Wang (@jq.wan) to the Jacky Winter roster! Jiaqi (pronounced Ja-chi) is a Chinese-born, New York-based illustrator and animator who creates joyful worlds where vivid colors meet crisp, clean lines, playful perspectives and diverse characters. Her project sweet spot is a short but magical animated campaign and her personal soft spot is her 8 year old cat!

@laurenmartin_studio created some refreshing new work for Solériade, a new lemonade by La Salvetat.
