There is no Jacky! But after almost two decades of receiving messages addressed to “Jacky”, we’ve just decided to lean into it. Last year, we made Dear Jacky hats. This year, Dear Jacky is the name of the new Q&A-style blog on our website, where we answer your questions on all things illustration and animation! If you’ve got a question or topic you’d like us to cover, our [emails](info@jackywinter.com) and [DMs](https://www.instagram.com/jackywinter/?ref=news.jackywinter.com) are open. You can even address it to Jacky - we encourage it! 💌 Our first post is a question that we get asked at least every week... > Dear Jacky – I wrote a picture book… what do I need to know about finding an illustrator? Read our answer here, and get some teasers on some upcoming questions in our inbox! [jackywinter.com/dear-jacky](https://www.jackywinter.com/dear-jacky?ref=news.jackywinter.com) --- [![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/37/bf/37bf26d9-637a-4dcd-b5da-b1345bb32628/content/images/2026/11/add6b294-intact_booth_NgPkbTF2onb7_hTtvFprjw_1758074112.png)](https://www.jackywinter.com/artists/lloyd-stratton?ref=news.jackywinter.com) ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/37/bf/37bf26d9-637a-4dcd-b5da-b1345bb32628/content/images/2026/11/7a890062-intact_booth_XdG5334ISa0-lwW1Knnpgg_1758074736.jpg) ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/37/bf/37bf26d9-637a-4dcd-b5da-b1345bb32628/content/images/2026/11/65e45daa-intact_booth_ExxWzKqpX5YjPCdXng4yAQ_1758074739.jpg) ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/37/bf/37bf26d9-637a-4dcd-b5da-b1345bb32628/content/images/2026/11/47e7dfa0-intact_booth_WUGubWEpX0uXEIxK1MZxFg_1758074745.jpg) ## New Artist: Lloyd Stratton Kicking off our 100th take, and joining the JW roster, it's our new artist [@lloydstratton](https://www.instagram.com/lloydstratton/?ref=news.jackywinter.com)! From the coastal city of Brighton, UK, Lloyd creates intricate, hand crafted pen and ink drawings and works in a monochromatic dot-work style. Perhaps best known for his illustrated alcohol label art (and impressive cactus collection - 72 and counting!) Lloyd’s signature style embraces traditional craftsmanship while applying a clean, contemporary finish across both print and digital platforms. With a youth rooted in Brighton’s vibrant rock and indie music scenes, Lloyd got his start designing band merch and gig posters, before branching out into skateboards, fine art prints and brand identity work. Drawing a heavy influence from the natural world as well as folk art, vintage tattoos and retro western Americana, Lloyd approaches his illustrations with thoughtfulness and meticulous attention to detail, using texture and contrast to provoke a sense of nostalgia, intrigue and charm.
